Journey to Joy
This week we are inviting you on a meditative journey to reconnect with your sense of joy and pleasure. Inspired by the sacral chakra, we will explore our sensuality and intuitive visualisation.

The sacral chakra is often perceived as the gateway to our creativity. I am often reminded of this energy centre at this time of year for many reasons. Firstly, it's vibrant orange hue is synonymous with the autumnal season and the beauty of the shedding leaves. Secondly, sacral energy encourages us to romanticise our lives, making space for presence, sensuality, play and pleasure. As the days grow shorter and the air turns colder, we naturally allow ourselves to be more indulgent and to enjoy little moments of sensual pleasure. From cosy culinary delights shared with loved ones to solitary moments engaging in a creative hobby indoors, the season encourages us to slow down and honour these pockets of quiet joy.
We hope you find inspiration this season to slow down and savour small moments of joy and wonder.

Five Crystals for the Sacral Chakra
This week, we’re turning our attention to the Sacral Chakra, associated with creativity, pleasure, emotions and our ability to embrace and enjoy our experiences. Located around the lower abdomen, it is traditionally represented by the colour orange.
Crystals aren't necessary for chakra meditation, but I love using them as a physical focus for the energy or intention I want to connect with. You might hold one during this week's meditation, place it nearby, carry it with you afterwards, or simply choose the crystal whose qualities resonate with you most.
Here are my five favourites for connecting with Sacral Chakra energy.
Carnelian — Creativity & Passion
With its fiery shades of orange and red, Carnelian is probably one of the crystals most closely associated with the Sacral Chakra. It is traditionally connected with creativity, motivation, courage and vitality.
Reach for Carnelian when you want to reconnect with your creative side, feel inspired to begin something, or give yourself a little encouragement to follow what excites you.
Orange Calcite — Emotional Flow
Bright and uplifting, Orange Calcite is associated with emotional openness, creativity and releasing stagnant energy.
Its energy is often described as gentle and encouraging, making it a lovely crystal for moments when you feel stuck — creatively or emotionally — and want to invite a little more ease and flow back into your life.
Sunstone — Joy & Confidence
Just as its name suggests, Sunstone has a wonderfully warm association with joy, optimism, confidence and personal power.
For the Sacral Chakra, I particularly like its connection with allowing ourselves to experience pleasure and happiness. Keep it nearby as a little reminder that joy doesn't always need to be productive or earned — sometimes we're allowed to enjoy something simply because it feels good.
Peach Moonstone — Emotional Connection
Soft and gentle, Peach Moonstone is associated with emotional balance, intuition, compassion and feminine energy.
Where some Sacral Chakra crystals feel fiery and energising, Peach Moonstone brings something quieter. It can be a lovely choice when you want to approach your emotions with gentleness, listen to yourself and create space for whatever you're feeling.
Citrine — Confidence & Abundance
With its sunny golden colouring, Citrine is traditionally associated with confidence, positivity, abundance and manifestation.
Although Citrine is perhaps more commonly connected with the Solar Plexus Chakra, I’ve included it here because its joyful, creative energy complements the Sacral Chakra beautifully. Use it when you want to nurture confidence in your ideas, creativity and ability to bring something you desire into being.
My crystal invitation for this week: before beginning the Sacral Chakra meditation, choose whichever of these crystals you're most drawn to. Hold it in your hand or place it near your lower abdomen and take a moment to consider:
What would I create, feel or enjoy if I gave myself permission to flow rather than force?

Wishing you a week filled with joy,
Blessed be
Ami and Tamsin
