Our Story
We are soul seeking sisters who grew up celebrating seasonal cycles with our family. Inspired by pagan and wiccan traditions, our home was a haven of creative rituals honouring the natural world and our place in it. Over the years, we have grown and changed and so have our practices. We are both curious and intuitive and enjoy exploring new paths that feel aligned to us.
Whispered Threads grew from a shared desire to create a welcoming online space honouring the many ancestral practices from all over the world to discover and share both their distinct qualities as well as the universal messages and ideas that run through them. From this idea, sparked an interest in encouraging others to interact with these traditions, developing their own authentic relationship with spirituality and nature. Ultimately, we would like to remind ourselves and others of the beauty and meaning in life that can be cultivated through intentional rituals, creativity and play.
Hi, I’m Ami, co-founder of Whispered Threads. I’m a dreamer and a mystic. I love deep chats, cats and being cosy. I am currently closing a chapter in my life and am curious to discover what the universe has in store for me next.
I am deeply attuned with the invisible and am naturally drawn to spirituality, philosophy and psychology. I love connecting the dots and finding common threads in ideas and experiences. I have a way with words, and languages come naturally to me. I have spent many years teaching English here in France and I have realised that connections are important to me.
Over the past few years, I have discovered the language of the stars; astrology. It has helped me understand the undercurrents shaping our internal and external reality. I feel it complements seasonal magic beautifully and I have developed my own intuitive approach to exploring the zodiac. I am also a seasoned yogi and like working with somatics.
I feel like I am the creative brain of Whispered Threads. I have an eye for aesthetics and an abundant imagination. From my bohemian dwelling in France, I get starbursts of inspiration. All the photography on the website is my own and my surroundings and experiences shape my storytelling. I am exploring my artistic expression currently and am looking forward to sharing my experiments with this community via the website and social media platforms.
Hi, I’m Tamsin, co-founder of Whispered Threads. I’m a gamer and researcher. I love getting cosy with a good book or game, a cup of tea, and losing myself in new worlds.
I’ve always been drawn to stories–the ones we tell, the worlds we create, and the ways they help us understand ourselves and connect with others. Growing up alongside my sister, I was immersed in a home that celebrated nature’s cycles, seasonal traditions, crystals and the quiet magic woven into everyday life. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about how people engage with play and storytelling, and how it affects personal growth.
Alongside Whispered Threads, I’m currently completing a PhD exploring limited-time events in games and how they can create meaningful, engaging experiences. My research has deepened my appreciation for the power of interactive storytelling and thoughtful design, inspiring me to create experiences that foster positive engagement, encourage reflection and curiosity, and create a sense of belonging.
Within Whispered Threads, I bring together my love of game and narrative design, mythology, crystal work, tarot, and community building to help weave immersive worlds and meaningful experiences that connect our inner rhythms with those of the natural world.
